Here's what we were working with - two heavily corroded outdoor AC units that had clearly been limping along for years. Heavy rust, deteriorating cabinets, overgrown landscaping swallowing the equipment. These units weren't just old, they were working way harder than they should have been just to keep up. That kind of strain shows up on your energy bills.

We replaced the whole setup with a new Trane 16 SEER AC and a variable speed furnace. The difference between a standard single-stage system and a variable speed unit is worth understanding. A variable speed furnace doesn't just kick on full blast and shut off - it adjusts its output constantly to match what your home actually needs. That means steadier temperatures, better humidity control, and noticeably quieter operation. Most homeowners tell us it feels like a completely different house.

Inside, the furnace installation came together clean. The PVC condensate lines, the ductwork connections, the whole setup was done the way it should be - properly sealed, correctly routed, and built to last. We also tied in an AprilAire whole-home humidifier and an Aprilaire media filter to round out the system. When you're putting in new equipment, it makes sense to handle everything at once rather than piece it together later.

A lot of HVAC installs get rushed. Corners get cut on the details that aren't visible once everything is running. We don't operate that way. Every connection, every seal, every line gets done right the first time - because a system that's installed correctly from the start is one that runs efficiently and holds up for years without problems.

If your system is showing its age - making more noise, running longer cycles, or just not keeping up the way it used to - it's worth having it looked at before it leaves you in a tough spot. An older system that's struggling is never going to get better on its own.
