When a customer calls us back for another install, that means more to us than any review or referral. It means they trusted us once, liked what they got, and decided they didn't want to go anywhere else. That's exactly what happened here - a returning customer who wanted their guest house set up with a real, reliable HVAC system.
We put in a 97% AFUE variable-speed furnace paired with a 16 SEER air conditioner. Here's why that combo matters. A 97% efficiency rating means nearly all the fuel being burned actually goes toward heating the space - very little is wasted. The variable-speed motor is the other big piece. Instead of just running at full blast or shutting off completely, it ramps up and down to match what the space actually needs. That means more consistent temps, quieter operation, and lower energy bills over time.
On the cooling side, a 16 SEER rating puts this system well above the minimum efficiency standard. For a guest house, that's not overkill - it's just smart. Guests notice when a space is uncomfortable. Now that won't be a concern, whether it's the middle of summer or the coldest stretch of winter.
The ductwork was also part of this install. We fabricated and sealed the sheet metal runs to tie everything together properly. A high-efficiency system is only as good as the duct system it's connected to - leaky or poorly fitted ductwork can wipe out efficiency gains fast. Getting it right from the start matters.
We're proud of what we put into every install, but we're especially proud when a customer comes back. That kind of trust doesn't happen by accident. It's earned job by job, and we don't take it lightly.
